This past Wednesday night we began a new series called
"Standing on the Promises". God has given us a wonderful
book filled with prophecies, commandments, history, songs, and
doctrine. Yet everything in that Book is based upon the sure
promises of God. Since it is impossible for God to lie, then we have
the assurance that every promise in the Bible is guaranteed by the
integrity and power of God.
Throughout the darkest days of human history, God's
people have found hope and comfort in those promises. In today's
world, the promises of God are as valid and as vital as they have ever
been. I invite you to make it a point to be in church each Wednesday
night to learn about the promises of God, how they apply to you, and how
to apply them to your life!
