What An Awesome God!

As we are coming to the end of the summer, I can't help but look back on what the Lord has done for us! As summer got started, we headed over to Danbury to the Northeast Baptist Campmeeting and heard some great and challenging preaching the two nights we were over there. After our Wednesday night service, it was off to New Jersey for the Somerset Youth Conference. Bro. Likins, Bro. Lapina, Bro. Ruhl, and Bro. Dignan were used tos tir our hearts about winning the lost and living a pure life. Do you remember the treasure box that Bro. Lapina used? How about the play-doh that Bro. Ruhl used to remind us of how God wants to work on us? Wow, what a great time that was!
As summer moved into July, Bro. Hamblin came and fired us up during the 4th of July week. Each week has held special blessings with people getting saved and baptized. God has truly been good to us this summer!
But to top it off for us, this year's youth conference was outstanding! Think about what God did! 10 young people were saved (4 in our services, 6 that were just outside passing by), 6 young men surrendered to preach, and several others surrendered their will to whatever God would have them do. That is just the tip of the iceberg. God moved in many lives concerning many things in each life. Don't forget what God did for you individually! It is good to know that God worked in other people's lives, but the most important thing to keep in mind is what God did for you. If He spoke to you during youth conference, He will speak to you today and in the future. Let Him have a voice in your life. Don't forget the good things God did for you this summer!
